Introduction
The Arab Council for the Social Sciences (ACSS) is pleased to announce a call for applications under the “Small Grants Program on Ethics of Social Research”. An amount of up to USD 4,000 will be available to eligible academic, development and advocacy institutions from Jordan and Palestine whose projects are accepted for funding.
The “Ethics of Social Research” is one of the ACSS programs that seek to engrain the culture of research ethics in the Arab region. This has been done through 1) training programs for ACSS grantees; 2) Small grants on “Ethical Dilemmas in Social Science Research” for individual researchers (two cycles) and 3) Small grants on “Ethics of Social Research” targeting Jordanian and Palestinian institutions to encourage them to reflect on their institutions’ ethical principles, protocols, and practices.
The Ethics of Social Research Program is funded by a grant provided to the ACSS by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) of Canada.
